This screen is the users research screen. With this page, users can research new technologies. Each technology has a different purpose, and each level of the technology is going to provide something additional to the user or will be a prerequisite for other objectives in the game. User can read the brief explanation under each technology in this screen, or click on the technology picture and go to help section to read a detailed explanation of all technologies.



Once you start a research, other research options will be disabled until you finalize your research or cancel the progress. User can only engage in one research at any given time, regardless of the number of cities owned. The resource requirements can be provided from any owned city, by choosing that city from the left pane, and initiating the research. Users can also use resources to produce military and civil units as described next.
